  The Executive Committee  
 
The Executive Committee, elected annually by the membership General Assembly is the governing body of NatureUganda. It implements the decisions of the General Assembly, including overseeing the activities of the Secretriat. The committee is represented by distiguished individuals (all volunteers) from government institutions, NGOs, international organisations and academic institutions.

Paul Mafabi, Chairman
He is the Commissioner, Wetlands Management Department, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Uganda. Paul also serves as the Vice Chairman Standing Committee-Ramsar convention.

Christine Dranzoa, Vice Chairperson
She is an associate professor and also the Deputy Director (Graduate Studies), School of Graduate Studies, Makerere University.

Robert Nabanyumya, Honorary Treasurer

Robert Kityo, Honorary Secretary
He is a Lecturer in the Department of Zoology, Makerere University

Pauline N. Kalunda, Honorary Publicity Secretary.
She is the Executive Director of the Environmental Conservational Trust of Uganda

Committee Members are:

  • Charlotte Kanabahita - She is the Chief Executive Officer of Bunyonyi Safaris. 
  • Deo Nkunzingoma- He works with Rubumba & Co. Advocates.
  • Dr. Kalema James - Senior Lecturer, Department of Botany, Makerere University. He's also the leader of the Plants Working Group(PWG), NatureUganda.
  • Prof. William Banage - Senior lecturer, Zoology Department, Makerere University.
